Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Welcome to Tanzania

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by your personal safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the lodge or explore the vibrant Arusha city and local markets. This is a perfect day to rest and get ready for your safari journey.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you’ll drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and towering baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive in this majestic park, spotting wildlife such as lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and over 500 bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and continue game viewing before checking in at your lodge.

Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park (Central Serengeti)

Today, you’ll travel toward the world-renowned Serengeti, passing through the Ngorongoro highlands. Enjoy an en-route game drive and arrive in Central Serengeti for an afternoon safari. The Serengeti offers endless plains filled with wildlife such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and—if your timing is right—the legendary wildebeest migration.

Day 4: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti. You’ll follow the rhythms of nature and track animals across various habitats—from open plains to rocky kopjes. With your experienced guide, you may spot the Big Five, as well as gazelles, zebras, jackals, and possibly even a hunt in action.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive as you exit Serengeti en route to Ngorongoro. You may visit a Maasai village to learn about their traditional way of life. Arrive in the late afternoon and check in at your lodge overlooking the Ngorongoro Crater rim.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Lake Manyara Area

Today you descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. Known as Africa’s “Garden of Eden,” the crater offers some of the best chances to spot the Big Five, including the rare black rhino. After an incredible wildlife experience and picnic lunch by the hippo pool, you’ll drive to the Lake Manyara region for your overnight stay.

Day 7: Lake Manyara Game Drive – Return to Arusha

After exploring the park, enjoy a scenic drive back to Arusha. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey.
