By booking a safari, tour, or travel-related service with Nala Tours, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully, as they form the basis of the contractual relationship between you (“the client”) and Nala Tours (“the company”).

1. Booking and Confirmation
• A booking is confirmed once a deposit (as specified in your quotation) is received and Nala Tours issues a written confirmation.
• By confirming your booking, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2. Payment Policy
• A 40% deposit is required to confirm your booking.
• The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before your arrival.
• For last-minute bookings made within 30 days of travel, full payment is required at the time of booking.
• Payments can be made via bank transfer or secure online payment platforms. Bank charges must be covered by the client.

3. Cancellations & Refunds
• Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.
• Refunds are based on the following cancellation schedule:
• 60+ days before departure: 90% refund
• 30–59 days before departure: 70% refund
• 15–29 days before departure: 50% refund
• 0–14 days before departure: No refund
Note: Third-party cancellation fees (airlines, hotels) may apply and are non-refundable.

4. Amendments to Itinerary
• Any changes made by the client after booking confirmation are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
• Nala Tours reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary (e.g., due to weather, park conditions, or safety concerns) in the best interest of the clients.

5. Travel Insurance
• All clients are strongly advised to have comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, and personal belongings.
• Nala Tours does not provide insurance coverage and is not liable for any costs not covered by insurance.

6. Health & Medical Conditions
• You must inform Nala Tours of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions at the time of booking.
• It is your responsibility to ensure you are physically fit for travel, especially for trekking or adventure safaris.

7. Passports & Visas
• Clients are responsible for ensuring they have a valid passport and the required visas for travel in Tanzania or other included destinations.
• Nala Tours can assist with general visa guidance but is not liable for visa issues or denied entry.

8. Liability Disclaimer
• Nala Tours shall not be held liable for loss, injury, death, delays, or damage to persons or property caused by natural disasters, force majeure, acts of government, war, strikes, or actions of third-party service providers.
• While we take all reasonable care to ensure your safety and comfort, travel involves inherent risks, especially in wildlife areas and remote destinations.

9. Wildlife Viewing
• Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. Our guides will do their best to help you experience the Big Five and other species, but sightings depend on nature and luck.
• Always follow the guide’s instructions while on safari for your safety and the protection of wildlife.

10. Complaints and Disputes
• If you have a complaint during your safari, please report it immediately to your guide or tour manager so it can be resolved promptly.
• If not resolved, written complaints must be submitted within 14 days after the end of the tour.

11. Use of Photographs
• Nala Tours may use photographs taken during the trip for promotional purposes unless you specifically request otherwise in writing.

12. Governing Law
• These Terms & Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
• Any disputes shall be resolved in Tanzanian courts or through an agreed alternative dispute resolution process.
